Yes. They are baseballs. I am a magnet for the baseball theme I guess;) All for a very good cause here. A new baby boy coming any day now. BUT this one doesn't have to be finished quickly though. Relax---just do it! (isn't that a song)
Red,white and blue are the go to colors for this bad boy. I wanted something to replicate a baseball diamond. Here is my inspiration pic. Conveniently, I saw this while linking up at Quilt Story. Love when that happens!
These HST's got a hold on me I tell ya! Lovin' every bit of it!

What a great theme for a little boy!
Can't wait to see the finish!

I like your half square triangle blocks and love the baseball fabric. Can't wait to see the progress. Have a Great 4th of July!!!
200 x 4" squares!! Yikes! I'll be looking to see this one done. It'll be quite an achievement!
Is the baseball quilt the commission quilt? Because you couldn't charge any kind of reasonable price for a quilt with 400 triangles, could you?
Love the new look of your blog! I'm going to be THERE this time next week- can't wait to see you and your "studio!" LYL<T (the MIL)
