A Happy Ending.....

Falling for the Linky Parties everywhere!

They are an excellent filter in which to {meet} new people around the world, see their {budding} creativity and learn {constantly}!
What more can a girl ask for?

Maybe some hand sewing time...

Basted her all up today.  (Do your quilts tell you what gender they are all the time? Mine certainly do!)  I had the perfect green perle cotton on hand too.  If I can get her completed in time for Christmas----golden.  The more I look at her though, the more I am pleased with myself in choosing the colors for the stars and two different block patterns.  Stars really keep me happy!

Maybe a new Snuggly;)

Usually I would say a finish, but you know when I went to look up "finish" in google (because I like to use fun synonyms sometimes:)), the definition is: to come to an end : terminate.  That is such a sad view! I don't want the quilt to ever be the end or terminated.

I hear finish all the time in the blogging world and never thought about it.  It is really such a "typical" word to use is why I feel.  You may think I am taking this way out of the park, but I think it is something to ponder the next time someone says, "I have a finish."  Any other word besides "finish" may sound silly, but silliness gets a smile:)  My thoughts when a new quilt is finished perfected-ah--huh!
 New beginning!!
New memories!!
 New pretty artwork!
 New found joy in quilting!

Ayden soaking up the attention in front of the camera!

He is a ham!

Such a fun quilt to fall in love with. There are those quilts who get that same response from me!

Love your quilt holder!

I just left my comment on the wrong post. It didn't make sense there, I'm sure. I said, Great finishes there....ah, perfections.

How about fulfilled, or accomplished? However you say it (and I still like finished!) it's a gorgeous quilt! Whoop whoop!!!

love the idea of 'new beginning new memories' when a quilt is 'perfected'! :)

Such a fun quilt! I love the Heath or Crosshatch blocks in the corners and sides. It gives it a different dimension, almost like the other blocks are floating.

Pretty pretty! :) Hm, I like your commentary on "finish" though I'll probably keep saying it because it sticks in my mind!

Dropping by from the Sew Darn Crafty Link party.

What a pretty quilt. And your tablerunner will be beautiful when it's finished.
