The fight against the HEAT........
Alrighty we are in the 1st week of July. Time is flying! At least for this girl:)
Cooling off for awhile at the Splash Pad. Even the moms got wet some cuz face it---it was Hooooootttt!
4th of July at a friends house with some of Aydens little buddies.
Pop-its,snakes and sparkler activity!

A finished quilt while in the cool of my house.
Another vintage sheet covers the back with some sheet patchwork for the center and bound in the same vibrant backing print.

Looks like your little one had a good day! This heat is crazy! Lovely quilt - great colors.
Thanks for the cool off....we are not as hot as ya'll, but we will have our turn, I imagine. Water play is good any summer day....
Playing in water is a great way to cool off... and don't blame the mammas for joining in!
I'm looking forward to some cooler weather this coming week.... altho temps in the 90s ain't exactly "cool"...
Looks like a fun time! I really like the colors in that quilt. It's got a nice, summery feeling to it.

Looks like you found a way to keep cool. Water and quilting. :) Your quilt is really pretty. Great design. It's been hot in Nebraska also. I hope we get some cooler temps soon.
Your quilt is beautiful. And I love the rake idea. :) We made hobo pies over the weekend and it was really too hot for a fire, but we did it anyway. They were delicious.
