For those of you who don't know what the traveling stash is, it travels all around the U.S. (and Canada possibly). This one was started in August 2011. It's filled with fabric, notions, patterns etc.
It's a party in a box!!!!!
This is what I snatched up------well this guy insisted he help too!
What did we add back into that party box you ask????
Jennifer Paganelli prints, Christmas snowman angels fabric, 1 yd blue flannel, a yd of a Joann's flower print and a Japanese Alexander Henry print in a little over a yd,yardage marker tags, twill tape, red Gutermann thread and some of those tabs you place under your rulers for grip--phew that was a mouthful!
Hence,I am having a giveaway............
Who wants a crack at this party box is the next question???
What to do if you wish to try your luck...
1. You MUST be a U.S. resident.
2. You must pledge to put in an equal amount of what you take out - quilt quality fabrics, for example, and approximately the same amount of yardage you took out
3. You must have an active blog and hold a giveaway to send the traveling stash to its next location.

Mine is eating Christmas dinner with my family.
I love that you had a helper :)
I like putting up the tree each year. Going through the ornaments one by one and remembering who gave them to us or what they mean. I buy and make new ornaments each year for the kids so when they have their own trees they will be able to walk down memory lane with their kids.
My favorite Christmas festivity is opening presents (you know, the crafty kind!). LOL

That looks like such a fun treasure chest to dig into to! Did you take the cute little boy out of there too?
My favorite part of Christmas is gift giving, although I hate the shopping part.
Blessings

Ok, I don't think comment #1 wins very often but I'll give it a go.
I blog at bookshookssticksetc@blogspot.com and will have a post there shortly about your giveaway (there is already one there about another box that is going around).
Have a wonderful day filled with quilty stuff!

fun fun fun!! are you making pj pants out of that woody fabric? i'd love a chance at this box - thanks Sara!!
I love the caroling and then a snack with hot cocoa. And always midnight mass.
Family makes the festivity in my house - meals, gifts, fun, and laughter. Thanks for the opportunity to enter your giveaway!
Toss my name in the hat, please!! My favorite Christmas tradition is our family party on Christmas Eve! :)
Every Christmas morning, we enjoy orange sweet rolls with the kids after they open their gifts. This has been a tradition since I was a child, and Christmas morning wouldn't be the same without the aroma of these rolls baking.
Love your helper and that he can appreciate FABRIC! :o)I have been following this stash all year, it seems. :o) Thanks for the chance!
I blogged about it here :o)

OOPS... Forgot my Christmas Tradition! In our home, the children are not allowed to leave their room on Christmas morning, until my wife and I call for them.
I often enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a bowl of cereal before we call them down...
It is the ONLY 20 minutes of peace and quiet we get together on Christmas Day!!
Thanks Again!
Paul

I'd love to play along....been watching this for a while!! I love all the festivities! Christmas eve with all the party foods is a fond memory and tradition! We love that!!
My favorite tradition is getting up in the wee hours of the morning so that my kids have fresh homemade cinnamon rolls to eat after they open presents. My kids would be so disappointed if they didn't have them on Christmas morning - even now that they are grown.
My favorite Christmas festivity is driving around during Friday nights in December and looking at Christmas lights with my husband and 4-year-old son.
Your son looks very happy with that Woody fabric. I remember when I use to have helpers too. :)
My favorite Christmas festivity was our special Christmas Eve foods and letting our boys open all of their presents. When they got up Christmas morning they each had a very special present under the tree from Santa.
I posted on my blog here http://sfquilts.blogspot.com/2011/12/i-found-it.html
I love having family over either for dinner on Christmas Eve or Day and Christmas morning for breakfast. Also, love seeing the excitement of Christmas in my children. Thanks for the chance at this traveling stash!

I love getting together with family and friends all through the holiday season. I do love attending Mass together as a family on Christmas Eve.
I want to go to Quilter in the Gap's home for the homemade cinnamon rolls:)
Hi Sara! My recent favorite festive Christmas tradition is creating the perfect Christmas pudding to go along with a festive dinner. I'm getting there, but not quite perfect yet! I posted about the giveaway on my blog. http://miceinthemix.blogspot.com/2011/12/traveling-stash-is-ready-to-move-on.html
Thanks for the chance to receive this wonderful traveling stash box!

My favorite part of Christmas - My Christmas Eve reading of the Christmas story from Luke and from 3 Nephi in the Book of Mormon. It's sort of the "Ahhhh!" moment of Christmas for me.
This sounds like so much fun! When our daughter was growing up, every Christmas eve she was allowed to open one gift of OUR choosing and it was always a pair of new PJ's that was for nice pictures of her opening gifts on Christmas morning! She now does the same with our grandkids. :0)
Family traditions on christmas - more christmas eve, dinner with everyone - thanks for the chance, i've been following the stash!
The best is getting together with family, as we are pretty far flung these days. But this past weekend, I went Christmas caroling in town with my Cub Scouts, and that has shot up my list of favorite activities! Thanks for the chance to win the Traveling Stash!
The family get together--sometime during or before the actual Christmas Day.
I blogged about it here:

I love singing the Messiah! In our community that was a performance on December 3 with the Full Score Orchestra.
That looks like such a fun prize torso to dig into to! Did you take the lovely little boy out of there too? My preferred element of Xmas is presents, although I dislike the searching element.
My favorite is making cookies or gingerbread house with my son.
