An infinity scarf for my MIL this past Christmas. It has been confirmed that she loves it as it is in her favorite color of blue as well.
Once again, as I have mentioned before these are so easy and do very well as wonderful gifts!
I have been diligently making progress on some hand embroidered letters for Jade these last few weeks. Lovin' how the Precencia thread shimmers all over. I am incorporating hints of purple and periwinkle throughout each letter.
I have the "A" done and it's on Instagram,but I can't drag it over here.
Anyone know how to do that? I have finished the "D" too,but no pics yet.

I'm over the moon with this wall hanging!!!! It will suit her well I think.
I added a solid red border and then a fun Japanese flower print.
It's bound in the same pink as the center. In total, I believe this little girlie took me at least a month, maybe a a week or two more.
The little sign was a little work,but I am satisfied with it now. Check out those yellow boots btw! eeeek!
Can't forget to mention the flower bouquet either!! Nothing like it!

This little arm saver has been on my list for quite some time. Here is the
tutorial details. I made one for me and another for a special someone.
I matched the fabric almost exactly to the car seat and I had the right amount of ric rack on hand to make this work wonderfully!!
It's a keeper that I know I will be thankful for soon;)
Onto the crib...where there was some sparkle to be added. I purchase a shade of purple tulle at Michaels on 2 spools and then I didn't have nearly enough:( A trip to JAF and I came home with another yd and 1/2 of tulle,but not enough. Back to JAF for 2 more yds!
I could actually go for some more tulle,BUT it will shimmer fine for the time being!
Bet you thought I may have bought the butterfly fitted sheet? ;)
JAF supplied the fabric. I sewed the fitted sheet with this
tutorial. The corners on one end came out a little bigger than I would have liked,but with another washing I think it will shrink a bit and fit like a glove. OR so I hope. I don't know if I will have enough time to make another one. I may just buy one. I know, shame on me,but this baby growing is tiring me out again;) Dang it!
Like a lot of folks I need more room in my car! Especially with another child coming soon! We had a bin full of and overflowing with Ayden's car entertainment toys. It had to go somewhere else. This is my solution. I found the best tutorial for my needs over at
Jellybean Junkyard....cute name eh? After many times fiddling with it because I couldn't get the buttonhole foot to cooperate or maybe the user;), I went with a fabric handle. ***Buzzzzzz*** wrong solution. Too much pulling from all the stuff added to the pockets. Yesterday morning I was determined to figure this buttonhole enemy out for once and all. Turns out I didn't have the foot pressure set correctly or rather that is what I think happened.
There are two buttonholes now and I am happy with that!!
Sarah Jane Bicycles and jigsaw puzzle print from JAF perhaps Kid friendly you know:) One more side note, I used batting to line/stabilize the inner pockets instead of interfacing (I was out) and then did some FMQ over each pocket. Another satisfying project and my Ayden asks " you made this for me?" Yup.

This is Jade's dresser that I have been scouring the internet for awhile for, to find that special piece that spoke to me! Originally, I was inspired by this style of dresser hutch at Tasha Horsley's blog. I wanted something very similar and in a color to match the violet we are going to paint her room in.
2 hours away in the small town of Wilmington,NC was sitting this pretty little thing!!!!!!
I love the lilac color so MUCH and there is a silver organza on it and silver leaf as well.
Gorgeous beyond words!!!!
All the curves are so beautiful and sweet!
In my stash I had this purple wavy print and it suits it well:):):):) A little bit of velcro is all I used to position each drawer fabric liner in place.
Time to fill her up with sweet baby clothes!!!!
